CrossFit Classes and What to Expect:
The first thing we as a training staff want you to feel when trying our gym is welcome. The name may give you some hesitation but believe me when I say that our staff is both welcoming and committed to making each experience with us exciting. The safety and well-being of our members is priority number 1! The second thing we are committed to is making sure you have fun, and realizing that there's more to you than you think. This gym is where possiblity becomes reality. We are difference makers. We are here to help. We are ready to meet you!
Try to show up a few minutes early for any class you attend. This is so you can put your stuff away, grab any essentials for the day's WOD and get ready to roll!
We do a GENERAL and SPECIFIC class warm-up which will take about 8-10 minutes. Then we do some active/dynamic stretching in preparation for the STRENGTH portion of the class. The coach will explain the expectations for the strength and get everyone on the same page. Then, WE LIFT!
This is our Metabolic Conditioning for the day. WODs can range from 5-7 minutes, 10-12 minutes, to 15-20 minutes. We mix weightlifting, gymnastics, and monostructural conditioning in as many ways as creativity allows. Any piece of equipment in the gym can be part of the WOD!
All of the workouts are designed to be different and challenging. Your body will adapt to that. However, we do not do this simply because we want you to be a better athlete.
